Come in messy.

The Mudroom is more than a pottery space—it’s a place to land when life feels like too much. Created as a healing third place for artists, non-artists, and anyone in between, The Mudroom invites you to show up just as you are. No mask. No pressure. Just clay, breath, and presence.

Whether you’re centering a pot on the wheel or just needing to center yourself, this is where messy is welcome—inside and out.

Here, trauma-informed principles guide everything we do. The clay doesn’t judge. The space doesn’t rush you. And there’s no such thing as doing it wrong.

What You’ll Find:

– Drop-in clay sessions (pay what you can)

– Gentle guidance from trauma-informed facilitators

– No expectations, critiques, or forced sharing

– A community wall for collaborative pieces

– Music, natural light, and permission to exhale

Why We Built It:

We believe healing isn’t always found in talk therapy or tidy answers. Sometimes it’s in the rhythm of your hands, the weight of the clay, the quiet company of others also learning how to shape something new.

At The Mudroom, we let the mud be medicine.
